Jason taught dance for over 20 years in Vancouver, B.C.and now focuses
his time and his passion, for "traveling and photography."Jason grew up in the Lower Mainland and love the scenery surrounding it,as is evident in the photos on his Photo pages
"While studying at the University of Florida it taught him great skills and it offered him an innovative blend of provocative and experimental approaches to photography in the traditional setting of a large, diversified state research university. As one of the most established programs of graduate and undergraduate study in photography in the United States, Jason's draw on substantial faculty strengths in photography as well as unusual expertise in the broad field of contemporary visual inquiry."
On his travels around the world ,through Europe , Australia, Japan, Thailand, Mexico, the British Isles, the U.S. and Canada, Jason always carried a camera. It was in Miami Beach Florida, where he met a professional photogragher named Robert, who introduced him to the serious side of photograghy, and taught him techniques that he still use's today.
During the hot blistering days in the Florida Back waters, Jason would search for wildlife. Sometimes the excitement was overwhelming, as he would follow Robert, shoulder deep into alligator and snake infested swamps of the dense Everglades, sneaking up on Southern key deer and the magnificent Alligator just to get that one great shot.
Jason has been hooked ever since.
